Technoclone Siron LS (aPTT liquid), 10x10ml

Technoclone Siron LS (aPTT liquid) is an activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT) reagent presented as a liquid reagent containing a soluble activator prepared from ellagic acid. Siron can be used to measure the overall activity of the intrinsic coagulation system, in research of hemophilia A and B, as a heparin control, and for detection of Lupus anticoagulant.

Siron LS is sensitive to the factors XII, XI, X, IX, VIII, V and II, when used in combination with the corresponding deficiency plasma, but insensitive to factors VII and XIII.

Siron LS is an activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT) test. This liquid preparation is a stable aqueous suspension of phospholipids. FXII activation of Siron LS is achieved by addition of ellagic acid.
