IgG2; half maximal binding to coated PAI-1 at 1 µg/ml; reaction with active PAI-1, latent PAI-1 and t-PA-PAI-1 complexes; no cross reaction with PAI-2 or PAI-3; no effect on the functional activity of PAI-1. Applications include immunodepletion of PAI-1 from human plasma in ELISA tests
Binds to active PAI-1, latent PAI-1 and t-PA-PAI-1 complexes. No binding to PAI-2 or PAI-3. No effect on the functional activity of PAI-1.
Hybridization of NSO cells with spleen cells from a BALB/c mouse immunized with purified PAI-1 from the human melanoma cell line MJZJ according to the method of Wagner et al. (1).
IgG2b
The antibody is purified from murine ascites by affinity chromatography on immobilized recombinant Protein A. The purity of the product is tested by Laemmli SDS-PAGE.
The antibody is lyophilized from a 1mg/ml solution in isotonic phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 0.02% sodium azide. It is supplied in vials of 500µg and should be reconstituted with 0.5ml distilled water. For extensive dilutions a protein containing solution should be used (e.g. 1% bovine serum albumin in PBS). Lyophilized antibody should be stored at 4°C. Reconstituted antibody should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C or lower. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
