Technoclone CNBr Fibrinogen Fragments

Technoclone CNBr Fibrinogen Fragments are prepared from purified human fibrinogen according to the method of Blombäck et al. The product is lyophilized from a distilled water solution.

Plasminogen Activation by tPA-Stimulation by CNBr Fragments of Fibrinogen

tPA was incubated with 60 µg/ml Glu-Plasminogen, Plasmin substrate (S-2251) in the presence and absence of CNBr fragments of Fibrinogen. Concentrations of CNBr fragments were varied. After an incubation of 2 hours at 37°C the amount of plasmin generated was determined by measurement of the absorbance of the specific plasmin substrate.

Reconstitution

The lyophilized product is reconstituted by addition of 1 ml distilled water and gentle agitation for 10 minutes at room temperature. For long term storage aliquot and freeze at -20°C. Stable for at least one year at this temperature. Thawing and refreezing of the aliquots is not recommended.
