DiaPharma ships Monday through Thursday. We must receive your order by 12pm EST if you wish to receive your in-stock items by the next business day. We do not ship on Friday, except for a Saturday delivery.
Our primary domestic carrier is FedEx. We can ship your order via UPS if you list your UPS account number on your purchase order. To ensure stability, we ship all refrigerated products next day air. If you have special shipping requirements, please include these on your purchase order. Larger shipments such as instrumentation or those on pallets may ship via a freight service.
We ship orders to Canada via FedEx using the International Priority service and charge to either your or our own FedEx account. We use FedEx as a customs broker by default. If you prefer to use your own customs broker, please indicate this on your purchase order. Due to concerns over customs clearance delays, we typically ship to Canada on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. When charging freight to your account, please provide your FedEx account number so that all freight and customs duties can be invoiced to you by FedEx directly.
In order to help customers determine which FedEx account (ours or yours) is most cost effective, we believe it is important to understand the shipping fee components. When using the DiaPharma account, the total shipping fee is comprised of:
The Canadian import fee and GST are levied upon the product since DiaPharma goods originate from the USA. When using your FedEx account, the cost components will vary and can be determined by your FedEx agreements and government registrations. We hope this information helps when determining how best supply your product. If you have any questions, we are available to discuss by calling customer support at 1-800-526-5244 or your local territory manager.
Orders for available items in quantity 10 or more or $10,000 or more in value can be held at DiaPharma’s facility by signing a “sequester agreement”. Once you return a signed sequester agreement, DiaPharma will temporarily hold your items for up to 30 calendar days.
DiaPharma must receive an official purchase order for these products within these 30 calendar days. If a purchase order does not follow within 30 days, DiaPharma will return your items to our general available inventory.
The sequester agreement states that you must take all items either per a prearranged schedule or by 90 days from the expiration date of the products. No returns, reductions in quantity, other alterations or cancellations are possible. In some situations, DiaPharma may not have sufficient quantity to fill the sequester order. DiaPharma will make every attempt to secure the entire quantity ordered.
