Technoclone Anti-alpha2-Antiplasmin 3AP
IgG1; reaction with native alpha-2-antiplasmin and with the MW = 8,000 peptide derived by SDS gel electrophoresis of plasmin-alpha-2-antiplasmin complexes as demonstrated by immunoblotting. Half maximal binding to coated alpha-2-antplasmin at 8 ng/ml. The antibody can be used for detection of uncleaved α-2-antiplasmin and separation of the plasminogen binding form of α-2-antiplasmin from the non-plasminogen binding form.
Specificity
Binds native α-2-antiplasmin and the Mr = 8000 peptide derived by SDS-gel-electrohporesis of plasmin-α-2-antiplasmin complex (1). Half maximal binding to coated α-2-antiplasmin at 8 ng/ml.
Derivation
Hybridization of NSO cells with spleen cells from a BALB/c mouse immunized with purified α-2-antiplasmin (1).
Antibody class
IgG1
Purification
The antibody is purified from murine ascites by affinity chromatography on immobilized recombinant Protein A. The purity of the product is tested by Laemmli SDS-PAGE.
The antibody is lyophilized from a 1 mg/ml solution in isotonic phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 0.02% sodium azide and 20 mg/ml mannitol. It is supplied in vials of 500 µg and should be reconstituted with 0.5 mL distilled water. For extensive dilutions a protein containing solution should be used (e.g. 1% bovine serum albumin in PBS). Lyophilized antibody should be stored at 4°C. Reconstituted antibody should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C or lower. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
