Technoclone Anti-alpha2-Antiplasmin 14AP
Lyophilized. Monoclonal. IgG2a; inhibits alpha-2-antiplasmin activity in a functional assay system.
Specificity
Recognizes functional α-2-antiplasmin.
Derivation
Hybridiation of NSO cells with spleen cells from a BALB/c mouse immunized with purified α-2-antiplasmin.
Antibody class
IgG2a
Purification
The antibody is purified from hybridoma supernatants by affinity chromatography on immobilized recombinant Protein G. The purity of the product is tested by Laemmli SDS-PAGE.
- 14 AP at 100 µg/ml preincubated for 15 minutes with α-2-antiplasmin at 37°C
- Plasmin addition. Incubated for 15 minutes at 37°C
- Measured uncomplexed plasmin with a plasmin substrate (S-2251) for 15 min at 37°C
- Recorded optical density at 405 nm (OD 405)
The antibody is lyophilized from a 1 mg/ml solution in isotonic phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 0.02% sodium azide and 20 mg/ml mannitol. It is supplied in vials of 500 µg and should be reconstituted with 0.5 mL distilled water.
For extensive dilutions a protein containing solution should be used (e.g. 1% bovine serum albumin in PBS).
Lyophilized antibody should be stored at 4°C. Recon stituted antibody should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C or lower. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
